My remote is now working. I upgraded to Windows 7 Professional so that I can use virtual xp to program the remote. I have a few problems. First, I click USB and then "attach unidentified device." Microsoft Active sync appears and says synchronization error. Any ideas? It recognized the remote once and I was able to upload/download. I have been having trouble ever since. Also, I programmed the remote for my DVD player first to test things out. It seems everything downloaded, but the IR commands. Any ideas? I suspect as I play with the programming more and more it will be easier.
