Once I learn commands from an existing remote, I am able to see "L" when I go to the device and the button. But I dont see them in the Universal Browser. Is this normal?

1. How do I save these commands so I can take it to another customer who has same device but no remote.

2. How do I send these codes to URC/remote central community. URC IR database for projectors is very less and I want to send some codes to be included in their database.

3. Will I be able to make Hex codes or CCF files for the codes learnt from the factory remote.

I see this in the programming manual.

Learning should be a last resort for professional installers. We make every effort to provide you with
any codes you need via our database. If they are not, please make a note to email us at the first
chance with the learned file you created, the type of device it is and the Brand and Model Number. If
it is not a current model component, we would still like to add it to the database, but please note in
your email the approximate age of the component. Please address your emails to:

HOW DO I SEND THE FILE? Any IDEAS?

Zip up the file, open your email program, type in the email address, attach the zipped file, put in a subject, leave a little message in the big white box explaining what you are sending, then hit send?  i think that's how email works. :p

:)
I do not have any file created to send them. I have the .CCP file with all my config. I hope they do not want that.

I will try to copy my .ccp file, delete my personal setting and send the file with only one device which is learnt. lets hope this works.

just delete everything except for the device that you learned and save it as a new file.

If you need to use the buttons you "learned" on another customers remote just import the source from the original remote into the new remote.
