Have just had motorola vip 2262 installed at home, trying to program mx-600 for vip2262, but cannot seem to find right codes, or learn any commands, am i missing something, worked well with older bell express vu 9241.

In CCP go to cable, motorola, vip1216.
All you need is there

That's what happens when newbies offer advice to newbies. CCP is the new programming software but it doesn't work with your remote.

liam58, try entering codeset# 152 into the editor and see if that works.

No, tried 152, would not respond. also tried 074 and 148 for motorola, but nothing seems to work.

Sorry, my mistake it does change channels, i will see what other functions it controls, does not power the receiver off, that is not really a concern.

If you tried to teach, but it didn't work, you might have to erase the failed attempts to get the preset keys working again. And for others, the mx-600 is not PC programmable remote.

OK, got the remote to work, thanks for your help, code 152 seemed to do the trick.
