Can someone confirm what is the latest software version of CCP. I see 2.5.0213.

Reason I am asking is because I don't see MX-890 Programming Manual in there. Can someone share the programming manual.

I called tech support for the manual and they said they will send it to me. But still have not received an email and its 12 hours already.

Open CCP, click on Communications, click on live update.

You will then have the most current version.

I also need the MX-890 programming manual.

Could you possibly email me a link to this document?

I got tired of being on hold with tech support.

Thanks!

I just purchased an MX-890 from an authorised dealer who supplied CCP and I can confirm that the latest update is 2.5.0213.

However I have the same problem, no programming manual for the MX-890.

Can someone provide this to me please?

Thanks

Hello - I am trying to confirm if I have the latest version of the CCP software. The one I have is 2.5.0325. The only reason I ask is because some of my devices cannot be found. One in particular is Sony AV receiver Sony STR-DN1030. If anyone knows what this code is I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Current version is 2.5.0325. Use similar device code sets; many are identical across models within the same manufacturer, especially with Sony.

Interesting news: I purchased an MX-890 from EBay that stated they were an authorized dealer for URC. When asked about the software to program it they told me it would be an additional $25. They said they would email me the link once I paid the $25. I asked how they could charge for a program that they didn't own and should have stated in the ad that it was required to make the device work. So currently I have a paper weight for my coffee table. This was all to save $50 off of retail. You learn some and you lose some.

Paying $25 for the software isn't that bad of a deal though if you were planning on programming it yourself anyways. If you bought it from a local installer, they would probably want to program it for you also (larger profit center) and most seem to charge upwards of $150/hr for that.

So I'd just pay them the $25 for the software and program it yourself. After paying a local installer $350 previously to program a URC remote for me, and being really disappointed with the terrible job he did, I've insisted on being given the software for any URC device I purchase and programming it myself.
