Any new updates on Windows 8 vs CCP?

FWIW, I just installed an older version of CCP into Windows 8 in Parallels 8 on a Mac and successfully downloaded the programming from my MX-980. Only trouble so far is that the app doesn't want to update itself! (should be able to get it off of my stepson's Win7 laptop where I did the initial programming)

CCP with latest update works fine under windows 8. I have been using it for a few weeks now.
