Hey im new to urc, i just downloaded the 900, and the 950 software for the remotes. I played w/ it for a little while but cant figure the basics out. Is there any online training courses i can take. Any ideas will b greatly appreciated

that might get you started (it doesn't have new features in the 950 like sound or navigate+/- but the gist is still the same).

thanx, got a little, i actually downloaded the 950 pdf manual. i havent done any remotes, can u make a activity like WATCH TV, WATCH MOVIE, POWER OFF... And in watch cable button, can u power tv on to correct input, power reviever on to cable input. And watch movie, switch to other inpu on tv for movie, switch reciever to dvd input, power on dvd player???

Think of it like this - if you can manually press a sequence of buttons on the remote, you can program it into a macro. Of course, if you do not have discrete input or power commands, this is when it becomes more complex and you need to be creative.

If you're a URC dealer, ask your distributor for a registration code for URC Control Room. There you'll find a number of training courses, including one that will cover the basics of system control programming.

Yeah, already got that and signed on to complete control rm. couldnt find any onlne trainings!! This is were i downloadded the 900 and 950 software. What do u guys recommend for software. I just down loaded the mx-900, and the mx950 remote soft. The only two remotes i think im going to use.. Is there a whole entire softwarte im missin gor need to get??? thanx in advance...

The only other software you MAY want to get is Complete Control Suite, which is basically a program that can open all of your Editors together, including the MSC-400 Editor, making it easier to update all of your Editors with one Live Update click, and also useful if you are programming more than on Complete Control remote on a regular basis.

You'll find it on the same web site.
