Thanks for the recommendation -- it looks like a great unit but kind of opposite of what I'm looking for I think :) I'm thinking smaller, cheaper, and relatively simple in terms of usage (e.g. like the old MX-200 had basic buttons--channel and volume +/-, arrows etc, and then three A, B, C programmable buttons).
If you are going to want something compatible with the MRF-350, you are going to have to stay in the URC family. To my knowledge, they are not making any remote similar to the MX-200 which was basically a companion remote to a more sophisticated remote, such as the MX-850. The only thing in the <$100 range with RF capabilities would be the RF20 (possibly the RF10, not sure if it is a RF capable remote).
Keep in mind that these remotes do not allow for changing the RF address. They are essentially set to '0', which can create problems with other remotes and/or basestations. Even though it is a bit more expensive, the MX780 was a really good suggestion, providing you can find a dealer willing to distribute the CCP software required. The remote is not very big. Yes it has more buttons than the MX-200, but you only need to program what buttons you want.
