I need a fews codes that is located in the MX data base to be converted into hex. I have no way to do this unfortunately. Without a an mx handheld, I have no way of doing so.
The codes I need are for an Akai PDP5073TM plasma. I have tried every Akai code in Pronto, Both my masterlist versions in Integration Designer, even tried using a cable remote to program a codeset to aquire a power toggle at best. Basically I tried every Akai and Samsung code I physically could.
I opened up a few MX versions, and The Model is located in the iR data browser.
The codes I need are Power on and off
It would be most appreciated if someone has 5 min and the ability.
TIA

I have no way to test these as I don't have an Akai or Samsung TV here. I learned them from an old MX-850 to a Speakercraft LTM1.0 and exported out of EZTools 401

Is Akai a Samsung subsidiary?

Really? wierd. I opened up mx-850 editor as well as 900 & 950 editor and the Akai set is there with the exact model no. Are you selecting TV as the device in the ir navigator?
Ir data from - TV brand - Akai model - pdp5073tm

Ir data from - TV brand - Akai model - pdp5073tm Not all codesets have discrete commands. The exact model is there, but it only has toggle commands. I had checked it in a updated version of CCP as well. Same codes available.

Well thanks for the effort Golden. Maybe I just have a set that is non responsive to ir. That toggle did not work either.
By what i have read online about this display and the ir functionality, there may not be an answer. I dunno

It could be a bad read on my part as well. Some codes are tricky to learn, and URC is somewhat notorious for being difficult to learn out of. Maybe Duct Tape will have better luck

No worries at all. Maybe this display will make a better solar panel heater. If I take the guts out and use the chassis with the old school double glass would make for a nice solar heater. or not

Wasn't Akai that brand they sold with the $20 DVD players at the counter at CVS?

haha probly. I know they were at Costco. No doubt its a pos
I think its a sammy panel with a different proc. The distributing company was out of cali. APH Inc or something like that
A partner of mine acquired one and ended up using it for a game tv. Kinda a piss off to get up and turn it on/off every time. Could be worse I suppose
