I've been modifying my MX-880, and wanted to change the default "Please wait" screens to my own design.

I found the two images under "System" in the program directory, one for IR and one for RF (I'm at work I can't recall the names exactly).

I created my own .PNG which is the same size as the defaults, renamed the default please wait, and copied my own image file to the same name in the same directory.

I've then DL'd the config to the remote several times, but that screen does not seem to update. What am I missing? Is there another location for these images?

Also, there's a "default" file in that directory (not an image), I'm not sure what that is for.

Ok... to update... I went through the entire CCP tree and searched for ProgressRF.png and ProgressIR.png. Instances existed in an MX-7XX, the MX-880 and MX-880Z directories. I replaced all of these with my own graphic, and restarted the program.

I also went through my macros and deleted the jump actions to the RF screen, then added them back in. After numerous attempts, I still cannot get the wait screens to change on the remote.

No ideas?

Did you ever discover a solution for this with an MX-880? I am perplexed by the exact same issue...
