I had accidentally uninstalled ccp from my xp computer.
Yes, I do have to use an XP computer. Long story.
Anyway, I re-installed it.
Several issues.
1. I could not open my prior .ccp files (may be because they were programed after the ccp software had been updated?).
2. I uploaded the program from the remote and saved on the computer. I will start using this file and I assume it would work. This was not a big issue.
How ever, Live update does not work. "patch info could not be downloaded" problem. I see a prior post from 2010 on the same issue.
I am using a wired lan network. Nothing has changed. I was able to update it just a couple of weeks ago, prior to uninstall.
Suggestions?
Thanks.

I think there's a problem on URC's end. I'm getting the same error and it was working just fine yesterday morning.

I can confirm the same issue others are reporting. Audvid, it has nothing to do with your re-install, so rest assured you'll probably be back up to the current update once URC fixes their end.

thank you all! That's a relief!
Btw, note.. if you used updated software and create a .ccp file, non updated ccp software does not open it! And at times when the urc servers are down, it makes it a very frustrating situation! The only solution is to do as I did - upload from the remote and start from there!

Try it now. I just checked again this morning and all seems well.
