I spent a lot of time programming my MXR-800 and did it many years ago. Now the remote is dying and I need to replace it. I'd like to move forward with technology and get a MX-900 but don't want to start over building the program. Will my program just carry over? I have the complete control suite (the old version) and can download the new version.

You'll be able to import learned codes, but beyond that I would consider starting from scratch, and simply using your old configuration as a reference for macros and such. The MX-900 is a very quick to program remote, but it still does more and has a very different layout than the MX-800.

BTW, get some color - get an MX880.

Can I program the 880 with Complete control suite just like the 900?

I was encouraged to qualify my previous "yeth" answer. If you have the old CCS shell that sorta just brought up the individual editors, it may not do a new 880. CCP will do it, however.

I promith to work on my lithp.
