I am having a serious issue controlling somfy shades, I am using an RSTII somfy control interface with an MX6000 and MSC400 I have tried all the codes in complete control IR and RS232 and I cannot make this shades work, does anyone have any experience or has come across this situation that can offer some assistance .

So you've checked to make sure you've wired the pins correctly and are using the RS232 input on the RSTII NOT the RS485 input?

The com port has the right setting for the Somfy? 

There is no carriage return (\r) after the code?

You can operate the blinds directly from the buttons on the RSTII?

I've used this piece before and it's worked just fine. I just entered my own codes for all the channels.

Yes using IR. I posted something similiar awhile back and it was recommended that I purchase the Somfy Multichannel IR Remote 1810498 and learn the codes. I think a lot of the codes in the database are wrong &/or don't work. And Somfy does not have a list of IR or hex codes that you can import into ccp. I remember hearing that a lot of people have had issues trying to make the RS232 work.

I actually carry the Somfy remote in my install bag. I have a few customers with the same setup and hve had no issues.

I have used the IR interface from Somfy and linked to control the shades. I was able to get codes from teh ccp that worked. It was alittle off-the codes in ccp reference the shade channel and not the function. Used AUX 411 and got them working.
