Just spent about half an hour searching the forum for this and turning to the experts for help.

Need the discrete codes for Power On and Power Off for a Comcast box made by Motorola. Model 6032A.

Remote control device is URC MX-3000. Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, there aren't discrete power for any of the Motorola cable boxes. There is however a work around.

POWER OFF:
MENU
0.5 sec delay
POWER

POWER ON:
MENU
0.5 sec delay
POWER
0.5 sec delay
POWER

I hope that helps.

The "rumor" is that this method sometimes locks boxes up...can anybody confirm this?

If this is just a nasty rumor, then this method for anchoring on and off is a godsend!

I have used this method successfully on a couple of installs without any locking up of the boxes. In general though, I just leave the cable box on all the time so my experience with this fix is somewhat limited.
