Instead of doing a second one from scratch in a second area using many of the same components and whole house music choices, can I hide main pg 1 and create a main pg 2 for the second area?
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

If I understand what you want to do, just right click "page 1" and choose "is hidden".

I would merely open the original and then click File:SaveAs a different file name and make your changes as needed to the new file.

I try to squeak by budget wise by using one remote to control 2-3 zones that are all adjacent, sharing the same sources. The variables and tweaks take forever. I always tell myself, never again... til this week.

Ahh i see. I thought you meant you wanted to use nearly identical programming on a second remote and then make a few changes here and there as needed. Forget what I said then, it doesn't make sense for your situation :-)

I have 2 zones and programmed the remotes to work in either zone. To do this I created a master page that allow the user to select a room. Once the room is selected it goes to that room's main page. The only way back to the main page is to select the room icon in the upper right corner (only available from the room's main page).

In my case there aren't shared resources, though some of the equipment is identical (Tivo, HTPC, and receiver)

Two zones is pretty doable.

Three, four, five...
