I think I know the answer, but wanted to confirm before diving into a big project...
Is there any way to use my .mxa file in CCP, or is a complete re-program the only option? If the latter, any tips on getting started? Beginning with a blank template seems a bit daunting, considering how many years I've put into getting the .mxa just right.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I believe the CCP can only read files with the ccp extension. I was in a similar situation. I upgraded from the MX-950 to the MX-1200. I first set up the new remote in accordance with ccp programming techniques, (make a room, select the devices, etc.). After I had the devices in, I brought up the MX-950 program with my latest .mxa file and duplicated the macros by looking at them in the old program and entering them (from scratch) in the new one. It went faster than I expected. I had only one new device to "learn" - a media player (Dune HD Smart D1).

Having issues with my MX-900 and MSC-400. I think it might have something to do with updates to the software and/or firmware. The system has been working well for about 3 years. I recently update the firmware on both units and made some changes to the software to accomodate new devices. The macros work on the MSC-400 when I test them through the front USB port but I can't seem to get the remote to trigger the macros on the MSC. I'm not new to programming and I've spent hours troubleshooting this. I've re-loaded everything the way it was when it was working with the exception of software and firmware version updates but I get the same result. Any suggestions out there for me before I lose my mind? I'm using MX Editor and MSC Editor separately, I don't have access to the lates CCP.
