I have a media room setup by a professional company and they configured my MX 450 to control my lights as well. The light controls are on 2 pages and the off and on button are on different pages. I want to rearrange the buttons to be more useful. Is there a way to rearrange already configured buttons in MX450?

the only way to get the buttons in the order that you want them, is to create a blank device, label the buttons within that device how you want them, then create a single step macro on each button for the command you want.

not true. you could just add a blank page to the same device.
1.)on the blank page, order the buttons they way you want.
2.)then macro them from the previous page.
3.)then hide the previous page.

ok, you could do it that way too.  but the advantage of doing it my way is that your IR routing stays in tact if you want to have commands from other devices on the same page.

??? not really sure what you're saying. my way would keep the ir routing the same. same principle as yours, just within the same device instead of creating a new one. if i macro the tv power button on the "lights" page the macro will alias the command from the device page that's properly routed. ???i think???

If you don't have too many existing macros referring to the buttons you want to rearrange and you have an inexpensive learning remote control, you should perform the rearrangement of buttons the simplest, cleanest way:

You should temporarily copy the IR frequencies to another learning remote and then copy them back (learn) to the new button arrangement you recreated on the MX-450 after deleting the old buttons you don't want.

You don't have to mess with all those macros and you don't have to waste any additional devices or additional pages.

you are absolutely correct.  i guess i have done it my way for so long that i just assumed there was a good reason.  :)
