Probably a very old topic based on what I am finding when I search on this question, but is it possible to get he MX software anymore? I purchased a MX-900 over 5 years ago and really haven't had to update the remote programming because my gear has not changed. I bought a new projector over the weekend and I went to find the software on URC website and it's not there anymore. Seems they only give it to dealers now? I have done my own programming from the beginning and it doesn't seem right that I may now have to hire someone who has the software to make a simple addition of a device to my remote that I paid good money for. What are my options?
Thanks

I just bought an MX950, it looks like a great remote, and the included literature refers to the Editor software constantly, but imagine my surprise to not be able to find the software anywhere ???
Is this for real ? Have these remotes been completely crippled by unavailable programming software ??

I want to say at this forum, MX-850 Editor is developed by Universal Remote Control, Inc. and is used by 40 users of Software Informer. The most popular version of this product among our users is 1.0. The names of program executable files are MX880Editor.exe, MX900Editor.exe, MX950Editor.exe and MXEditor.exe. The product will soon be reviewed by our informers.
