Thanks. I have discrete codes but both my TV and video processor require about 10 seconds once turned on before they will accept any commands. So I think variables might work better.

Just to follow up, I decided to get the 780. It's all programmed and working great, it's a very nice remote. I think what I really wanted is the 880 with the 780 button layout but decided to go with the 780 for now and keep an eye out for new remotes. I don't know what URC has in the pipeline but I figure now that I bought something they are free to release some new models. :-)
