Listen Pal - Don't tell me where I should go or what I should do. If I want to agree with a post publicly on a "public" forum then I can do so. I've stated my reasons, provided the end user with indirect help by telling him to do a search and have helped plenty of people. I don't think URC's policy is that difficult to understand but you seem to think it confuses people. Like it or not, this is a professional product and just because this is a professional forum doesn't take away anything from that. This is the last I will be posting on the subject, so lay off the caffeine and allow people to agree with people. This is not a help forum as much as it's not a rant forum, but I suppose that it is that as well since that is what you are doing.

I don't think it confuses people and never said so. If it's a "Professional" product why does URC allow it's dealers to give it to end users?

I'm not telling you where to go just making suggestions.

I'm not your Pal.

Because they know they need to be a part of the DIY market regardless of what they tell dealers and that is their out. Between myself and my parents I have bought 9 URC remotes (MX-3000x1, 980x1, 900x2, 880x4, 810x1) I have since sold the 3000 and 810. But I have to wonder how many dealers sell 9 remotes into a family. All were bought from dealers (ie not ebay) who were quite happy to sell the remotes to me.
