I have a new MX-880 that can only be programmed with CCP.
However, I have been using and am very familiar with the stand alone MX-880 Editor and because I had read about a "workaround" to still be able to use Editor instead of CCP for the "new" MX-880s, I decided to create an MX File to be loaded onto my new remote.
But, for some reason, the workaround did not seem to work for me and was given no choice but to transition over to CCP.
So now, what I ended up doing was loading the MX File I had just created on to one of my older (Pre-Cutoff) MX-880s and then uploaded that configuration to CCP, which was converted to a CCP file in the process.
Next, I loaded that new CCP file on to the new MX-880. Everything seems to be functioning OK as far commands and macros, but the associated graphics, such as Favorites Icons, are not.
Is there a simple way to transfer the graphics data on to the CCP or straight to the remote control, for that matter?
I *think* I can manually grab the data files from the icons folder from MX-880 editor, but that seems to be whole lot of work and very inefficient.
Any thoughts or suggestions on how I can accomplish this transfer?
Thanks.
UPDATE: Just ended up copying Folders with the desired icons from MX-880 folder that was used for the stand-alone editor and pasting them to the MX-880 folder located within the Complete Control Program Folder. Then, just manually selected which icon I wanted for each particular Favorite Button. Took a few minutes, but was hoping for something a bit quicker. No big deal.
