Hey everyone,

I have scoured the internet to find out the information I need regarding the programming for the MX900 but cannot seem to find it anywhere. Basically I had a URC system installed four years ago when I had my house built. At the time I had a dealer come in and install the entire system. I had a simple set up with our TV (with Sky Digital Satellite), VCR (it was a few years ago) and our DVD player. A few weeks ago the DVD player died and we bought a new one to replace it.

The burning question is...how do I connect the new DVD player to the system? Do I require some kind of software or computer input in order to attach the new DVD to the remote control?

THe catch is...the company we used to install the system has since gone out of business! I cannot find anyone here in New Zealand to answer my questions and all I want to do is have a DVD player that connects to my tv in the lounge. Can anyone give me some advice as to what I can do next?

You do require programming software to update the remote control.
