Today it said a new update was availlable and I updated. Whats new in the update?

The "update" splash screen when you launch CCP only talks about the updates from 2010.

I believe if you look up in the top toolbar there is a help option, and in there you should find an update history option.

they rarely update the update history.

it wasn't a very big update.  probably had something to do with the ir database.

you will find that URC updates the software quite often.  don't waste your time trying to figure out what the update was, it will only make your head hurt.

keyword "some"

one issue i was hoping would be fixed it the "display text" check box doesn't work. works on screen but once you load it into remote it still shows. so my remote has a cable box named "cable box_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx".

By labeling it so large the program will not display the text under the device button.

The copy shortcut to move buttons within a device doesn't seem to work. ctrl+shift+Alt. i had to copy paste and realign all my changes. However this might be by design, because the screen is free form while a remote like the 980 will "snap" to a button.

i didn't spend a whole bunch of time with this remote, just did what i needed to do.
