HELP!
I am trying to get my MSC400 and MX3000 working in Harmony. When I try going through the manuals I end up getting more confused and going around in circles!
Can anyone answer the following:
1. When I use CCP I can add my MSC400 controller but there is no icon for the MX3000....why not?
2. How the hell do you add the RS232 strings? For example if I want to add a panasonic projector I go to my list on devices, click the drop down box and see everything but projector......Why? Also under Brand Panasonic does not exist.
Is there a Step by Step guide that is available to help me through this?
If no does anyone want to buy a MSC400 and MX3000?

the mx3000 isn't programmed in CCP, it uses the stand alone editor.
hire a pro, or like you told the other guy, sell it and buy AMX.
I don't understand why people come here with an attitude like we are the ones causing the issues. There is a reason that this stuff is intended for professionals. Because we have taken the time to go through the trainings and read the documentation. (you will find all documentation in the help section of CCP by the way)
if you truly want help, don't be a dbag when asking your question.

I was not being a dbag, its frustrating when manuals make life even more difficult (I have read the manuals by the way)
So CCP (Complete Control Program) does complete control.....apart from the MX3000. This is my point.
I was trying to control a Sanyo projector, why is it not listed in the Brand list?

To program both the MX-3000 and MSC-400 together, you need the MX-3000 standalone editor and the MSC-400 standalone editor. You can't use CCP.
There are some Sanyo projectors under TV.

Hi Mike,
Do I need to input the IR and RS232 codes in MX-3000 editor then import the saved file into MSC-400?
If the answer is yes where do I input the RS232 codes in MX-300?
Regards,
Keith

Keith all rs232 programming is done in the msc400. after you create the rs232 device, you convert all the codes to smart macros. then you drag the smart macro triggers onto buttons within the mx3000.

This guy programs AMX and Crestron and he is relying on URC to update an IR database for a Sanyo projector?

I got the strings. I am just surprised Sanyo is missed out from the Brands.
