I have a MX-900 remote and I program the remote on my laptop.
I upgraded the remotes program to the latest but it still does not have my new receiver listed in the "IR Database Navigator".

Is there a separate IR Database or "MXx" file out there to get the main commands?

Thanks,
Debbie

HTR-3064 is electronically the same as RX-V371. Try setups for the RX-Vx71 series.

This is good to know but when I checked in my 'IR Database' The closest I could find was RX-V361 and RXV365. And neither on worked.
And I have no RX-V that ends with a 71.
I do have tons of other RX, RX-Vxxxx and such.

I went through and test the power for any and all that had a [Main] in the title.
Like: HTR-5960 [Main] (Rev320)

Let me know if you can thinks of anything else I can try.
I do have some buttons working using the face to face learning but would like to be able to use all buttons possible.

Thanks,
Debbie

I don't know anything about URC remotes, but the manufacturer says that if you have the latest software, you can enter IR codes in Pronto Hex format. We can tell you the Pronto Hex for any function of your receiver.

Yamaha receivers have for years used the NEC1 IR protocol, using device 122 and more recently 126. The RX-V371 uses a variant of the NEC1 IR protocol for most of its discrete commands, and few universals have this variant built in.

If you can't get Pronto Hex into your MX-900, then you could buy the cheapest Harmony and teach the commands. If the Harmony is missing any commands, (likely) then you can send the Pronto Hex to Logitech, and they will eventually add the commands to your Harmony. I think this can only be done for new Harmony remotes within a few weeks of purchase.

Or you can get an e.g. RCA RCRP05B (or many cable company remotes) and a JP1.3 cable and again teach your MX-900. No expiration date on this method.

Or just use the import hex function in MX Editor or CCP
