I can't get an ALL OFF macro to work on the Power OFF hard key of my MX-450. I want it to turn off my TV (Sony Bravia), Amp (Denon 1912) and BD (Sony BDP-S380). I have programmed the macro on a main device button on page 2 and on an internal key on this dummy device. They work fine. I have added the same macro to the Power Off hard key and it works for the "test" function, but not in real operation. It appears the macro is not running.

What's really frustrating is that I had it working but decided to change it so I would not have to press Main first. Now nothing I do will get me back to what was working. I've erased and preprogrammed the macro. I've also tried copy and paste to Power OFF Only. All that happens is the TV toggles, the same as before I added the macro.

I've read everything I could find on the forum and while the postings were helpful, none solved my problem.

Next time archive your file before you start messing with it...

Made progress after talking again with URC tech support. By resetting the Main Power OFF hard key (copy and paste Power OFF Only from the device to itself) the macro now runs properly.

What does not yet work correctly is the hard Power OFF key when you are within a device. The hard Power OFF key is supposed to replicate the internal device Power OFF key. I find it does that, but for only that device. It will not run any macro attached to that internal device Power OFF key.
