I've got an old (6 years) MX-350 and an MRF-250 RF. I just swapped receivers from a Marantz SR8500 to a Denon AVR4810ci. I did not do the original setup of the remote but read the manual and reprogrammed the remote to learn the new commands on the Denon. The issue I'm having is that RF capability is not working. IR is working fine which I believe indicates that I succeeded with the programming. I've gone through the RF settings to make sure it's set up to IR/RF and have also tried RF only. I made sure the Blaster was set on. I reassigned the ID# too. Still can't get RF to work. Since the manual doesn't really address switching to a new device, I thought I'd post here to see if I'm missing anything.
Thanks in advance.

Are the emitters assignments set correctly still for IR out from the MRF250?

I checked the bottom dial and the emitters are set to 1. I programmed the MX 350 and it's working on IR. Do I need the software to assign the emitters? I don't have it as I hired an installer to do the original setup. I did it this time myself.
I moved the emitters around on the front of the receiver and no luck....

The dial refers to the ID #. Make sure you have the same number under the RF setting page. Anything but 0.
EMITT refers to where the IR flasher is plugged in. You can set it to be specific or you might be able to set it to ALL
Get a strong flashlight. Shine it all over the front of the receiver looking for the IR sensor. This is where to try the emitter. A LED flashlight might not be strong enough to find it.
