I have a long distance customer in South Carolina who is trying to load a configuration on to his MX-6000 with XP with no luck. (driver related). I am not famiiar with XP as far as the way to set it up with this remote - does anyone know if it uses activesync, or mobile device manager? Is it just a matter of using the microsoft USB driver? Any help on procedure would be greatly appreciated.

it uses active sync. he probably has to go into device manager and manually install the driver.

do you mean the drivers that are in the program files/Universal../CCP/MX6000/drivers area?

yes, if you go into device manager and find the unknown usb device, then update driver, then point to the proper folder within the CCP/MX6000 folder, that should do the trick.

My work laptops are all XP and I have had no issues with any of URC remotes. :)
