I have a MX-3000 that I want to control a CL-800 Motorized Curtain system. I already know this remote will work with the CL-800, but my question(s) pertains to moving the curtains depending on the aspect ratio. (2:35 and 16x9).

Below is the curtain positions I will be using:
1. Fully Closed
2. Fully Open (2:35) - I will be using a 2:35 screen
3. 16x9

Using the editor software I'm trying to utilize variables (On/Off) and alias (Before/After) to program the correct movement. For example.. if the curtain is fully closed and I want to look at a movie that is 16x9, the curtains will be moved to this position. If the curtains are in 16x9 and I want to move it to 2:35, I have to check the status of the variable (I think) which I don't know how to do. If the curtains are fully open and I want to move it to 2:35, the state of the variable will need to be checked again. There will be different checking of variables depending on where the curtain position is currently at.

My questions are:
How do I check the state of a variable?
How do I utilize the curtain placements.. variables?.. alias? both?..
I've created buttons and variables for each position in the software, is this correct so far?

Thanks,
