When I import a device into my MSC 400 and turn that device into a macro group I am having issues with the amount of times that signal is pulsed out from my IR emitters.

If I un-check the "repeat while pressed box" and change the value in the "Repeat" box, it works fine; I can control the amount of pulses the emitters send out, but I lose the ability to hold down the button and continually repeat the command. Specifically volume.

If I check the "repeat while pressed box", and change the value in that box, it only pulses out the command 3 times no matter the value. What am I missing.

AND if I take that command, and put it into a nested macro, no matter what either value is it will only pulse 3 times.

What am I missing.

Much appreciation in advance
Steve

I presume your talking about a receiver? You didn't say what device your having problems with?

Can you use RS-232?
It works way better for volume and has the option for setting ramp start and speed.

K,
thanks for the reply, but I cannot use 232, not available on the units I have. Its across the board for the commands. But the volumes are most annoying. I know its something I am doing wrong
