I have 6 sat receivers being addressed separately, of course... Is there a quicker way than updating the favorite macros in each receiver, one by one?

I am not sharp on the msc400 to know if there is a secret to routing commands to the right receiver, while only defining the channel numbers on one device. Using KP900 at this time.

Depends on how you have your activities set up. How do you select which box you are using? You can either copy/paste the favs pages from one device to another. Or you could use variables to track which box you are using. Need more info.

I tried the copy and paste, after having set sat 1 to be flashed by emitter 1. Copy and paste at that point gave me sat 1 codes, going out emitter 1, even in Sat 2.

Maybe I should have left the emitters at "all" before copying and pasting? Then assign emitters last. Updates to favorites would require six changes per favorite at that point.

Variables... can I use them to output to a selected emitter? How would that macro look?

nope, you could only have 6 different sat tv devices and have the variable point to the specific device.

I've done variables based on power state but not pointing to devices.

Could you give me a snippet of what that code would look like, to point to a device and have it output through the right port?
