Welcome to the site. I recommend turning your caps lock off. It is considered yelling, and rude in the internet world to type in all caps.

With that said, on the very next page you will find a thread explaining that there is no drivers for windows 7

Reading the threads or doing a forum search before posting your first post would be a decent idea. Anyway, my recommendation is to use a machine with XP on it if you can. There may be a work around depending on what version of Windows 7 you have. If you have Windows 7 Home you will not be able to use it however.

i have used the MSC400 on windows 7 32 bit machines.   You need to manually find the driver in the Complete Control Program/MSC400 folder.

the MSC400 is not compatible with 64 bit XP, Vista, or 7.  There is a big sticker on the box that says so.

I use an old laptop running XP to program my MSC400.

Why can't URC write a driver for the modern OS of Windows 7 64bit? It doesn't make sense to me.

Because they dont care as much about products already sold vs products they are going to sell. Priorities determine where their scarce resources are assigned.. business 101

It has to do with a hardware incompatibility with 64 bit. Search the forum. Im pretty sure it has been explained by Urc here previously.

I don't want to get into a Mac vs. PC discussion here but has there ever been any word of URC coming out with a Mac version of their programming software?

URC's been asked before, but with Macs only being around 10% of the market, they don't find it necessary or cost effective. Apple sales are way up this year (mainly due to the iPad), but even with the iPad included they may only reach 20% of the total market.

When I find the driver in the MSC400 folder, what do I do with it? Thanks!

go to your device manager, find the msc400 in the list, then install the driver manually.

Thanks for the reply. I'm a Mac user so I'm still figuring out Windows:) I just got a new MacBook Pro and XP is not supported in Boot Camp so I had to upgrade to Windows 7. I remember now that I had to manually load the USB driver a couple of years ago. I have no problems programming the remotes but the system software occasionally throws me a curve.
