I just bought a 20 gig PS-3 for Blue Ray dvd playback (I'm not a gamer and can't believe I'm going to use one for my HT, but here I digress). Well I also just found out that it has a blue tooth remote with no IR control.

Has anyone figured out how to interface the MX remotes with this thing??

Look at the left side of this page and see Daniel's solution under "What's New" here: [Link: remotecentral.com]

Thanks Mike. That's one heck of a work around..... :)

I assume that I'd just stick a flasher on PS 2 external IR?

I'm not quite understanding why there is only 15 functions either.

Is quite a work around but it does work. We got the usb adapter and attachments today. All of the buttons seem to be reversed from the PS2 to the PS3.

the only thing we can't get to work yet is the navigation buttons, but I sent the wife out to get the ps2 remote from wally world.

email me and I will send you our templete.
