I've pretty much finished the design of my MX-980 setup. See the screenshots below.

If anyone is interested in using the template, I'd be happy to share my .CCP file, accompanying .PNG and .PSD files. Just send me a private message and I'd be happy to send you the files. I'm just a humble DIY'er, but I'm quite pleased with how the remote has turned out. After all the help I've gotten over the years here, I figure it would be a good idea to give back.

I like the Playing PS2/Wii screens. Also like the idea of the Back button. I think I may add that to a couple of screens.

Nice job!

Nice buttons and backgrounds. I'd really like a copy of those too. Are you navigating to the advanced device control page from the Help button? I used an if statement on the watch & listen buttons so that if those buttons are held down for > 1 second then you jump to the control page for the appropriate device instead of executing the normal watch or listen macro.

Where did you get the CTV and CBC logos for the favorites and are they available for the MX-450.

I have the latest firmware but no such logos.

The mx-980 has the ability to have custom graphics via the editor software and hence any logo you want; with the mx-450 you're stuck with what URC provides you.

Nice work, smg669.

My current scheme is that the advanced device controls page is simply page 2 of my "Main" section. I've considered using your "press-and-hold" method, but this is working for now. One benefit of being a DiYer is that you can monitor the usage of the remote and quickly correct any issues the kids/wife are stumbling over. The help button just goes to a hidden device with two pages - first page is filled with discrete on/off for the main devices and the second page is discrete input commands for the av receiver.

All of my devices are TOADs (save my cable box, which is an "always on" device) so the need for "Help" hasn't happened (yet). I typically send back-up commands in my macro to make sure there aren't any RF dropout issues.

As tweeterguy mentioned, you only get the favourites logos that URC feels the need to include in the firmware. You could send them an request for the main Canadian channels to be included (or have your dealer do it), but I'm not sure how much elbow room they have in that firmware for more graphics... and I don't know how many Canadian MX-450 customers they might have (to make it worth their while). And if we request the GlobalTV logo and The Igloo Channel logo, then they'll have to start adding station logos for the Chileans and the folks in Burkina Faso.

If you do ask them to add some Canadian favourites logos, make sure you spell favourite with a "u".

Okay thanks for the tip.

In any event, the logos you created are awesome. Love the look.
