Is there any way to adjust the duration of the transmitted signal on the MX-3000 that I am overlooking. Trying to get my DSM-320 programmed, but if I press the Up/Down keys, it always transmits too long (resulting in the selection moving 2 Up/Down). I have tried changing the 'repeat' to 1 and turning off the 'repeat while button is pressed'; but to no avail. Don't have the same problem on a Pronto. I have tried both learning the command, as well as importing using the universal browser; but result is the same. Any tips?

Guess I'm stuck with the problem. Pity URC does not allow control over the duration :( Guess I need to replace the DSM-320 (or the MX-3000) with something else that can be controlled.

Hi, click once on the button that will send the command, then click on the ir data button a the bottom of the screen, it's between the variable and macro button.
Then select the number of times you want the ir code to be sent to the device.
You might want to uncheck the option (repeat while button is pressed).

I hope this will solve your problem.

Let me know if it works

Are the learned and database commands you used from the Pronto or the original remote? If so you might need the original remote to get the correct command.

Thanks for the suggestion - per my first post, had tried this to no avail. Its almost as if the duration for a single transmission is too long

Have tried it both from the original and the Pronto. Both behave the same way

Re-learn the command as many times as you can (create a bunch of dummy buttons) ...

1. When you learn, use "learn-1" for some and then use "learn-2" for the others
2. Learn it by quickly "tapping" the button once to learn, then again by pressing and holding, then again by repeatedly tapping
3. Learn the code with the remote pointing right at the MX-3000 for some, but for others "pull" the remote away while you're learning

When you are done you'll have 10 or so versions of the same code...download and test each one to see which (if any) behave the way you need it to. If not, I personally would repeat the steps above knowing that eventually it should learn properly.

I know it all sounds silly but it gets around the problem with checking/unchecking the "repeat while button is pressed" box (which never ever seems to work for us). Thanksfully most codes learn fine or are in the database, but every now and then when you get a tricky code like this you'll just have to play around with.
