Anywhere I can find a file with codes for LG BD570 Blu-Ray player. I found a BD370 file here but it doesn't work with the 570.

Mainly I need discrete on/off since I can learn everything else. So sick of these newer remotes with on a power toggle button.

BD570 is listed in the CCP database (348). Although there is no discrete power.

Well discrete power is my main objective so that doesn't help. So does that mean there IS no discrete power on that unit?

Drag the discretes from the BD300 over. They work. :)

I used these with success on a Nevo Q50, they should work for any remote.

ETA - I used the codes above on an MX-880 with a BD550 yesterday. They work.

Is there a URC code set that includes the discrete power or will I have to cut and paste these in?

Step 1) Create a MX980 program called "My Library"
Step 2) Create all the devices you regularly use, include all their discrete codes
Step 3) Don't use URC's built in library for programming
Step 4) Use Transporter to import your custom devices from "My Library"

Do the work once, reap the benefit for years.
You're welcome.

I only half understand the use of the transporter. I have used it for dragging a few codes, are you saying an entire device can be pulled in with transporter? Should I consult the help guide? :-)

Transporter imports codesets from devices in other CCP programs. I think the definition of "device" is model dependent because of the button mapping.

Dragging individual codes to buttons is fine if you aren't using features like IR routing, but in URCs world IR routing is device-based, not button-based so if you drag a code to a "page" assigned to a device with different IR port routing you're going to get messed up.

You could set your IR routing to all ports, but then why even bother with IR flashers at that point? Just flood the area with IR from the front blaster on a MRF.
