once more this has raised it's head with CCP when attempting to Update, the solution was to turn off 'User account control' ( I'm running Vista). This time that solution doesn't work, neither does running as 'administrator', anyone have any ideas?

I too have received that message - calling URC was semi-helpful but with no ultimate resolution. I'll be watching this thread for info.

I've also seen this on my XP machine. Off topic: A recent update failed to allow me to open any old files. I had to do a system restore and I've basically ignored updating for about a month..... CCP has it's bugs!!!!!

It was on URC's end. It's working fine now.

It's (the MX-3000 editor) updating fine on my Win 7 PC. On the standalone editors, it's updating the database to 1.96.

spoke w/ Glen @ URC and indicated that it is an issue with being wireless and not hardwired when updating. I have not tested that theory yet, but have to believe it is so because before I moved (to a new home) I was using my desktop hardwired and would update fine, now that that PC is on the 3rd floor man room and I have not had time to run a Cat 6 to it I am running a wireless PCI card and now will not update...

I was able to update my Latitude D600 XP Pro fine this morning, my D830 XP Pro now has the patch file error. I've tried both wired and wireless.
