Hi,

Does anyone have a URC file for the Popcorn Hour C-200/A-200 IR codes. I cannot locate that product in the database. I have checked for Syabas as well who seems to be the manufacturer. The page on their forum that is supposed to have the codes [Link: networkedmediatank.com] is blank.

Has anyone tried to use the proto codes in the universal browser?

Thanks.

Do you have the orignal remote? If so, just learn the codes
why have a nice system if you cant operate it, program the remote the right way the FIRST time!

IIRC, the C200 was originally issued with an RF remote, with IR an OPTIONAL purchase, so if he didn't purchase the IR remote, then he can't learn them.

You are correct sir. I have ordered the IR kit as I have found out the pin connection for the 3.5mm input is a different data/ground/voltage setup than a standard input.

I will be able to learn the codes I was just hoping to get a file I could bring into the universal browser and have this programmed before it gets here. The codes are supposed to be the same as the IR codes for the A-100.

It is funny the product line from Popcorn Hour is in the Harmony system but not in CCP yet.

If anyone has these codes, I'd be interested in a copy.

I posted them a while back along with a link to the controller that showed what each hex command referenced. This should help you out:

The link is now dead is there any way I can get this code & perhaps find out if the MasterControl RF20 [Link: amazon.com] is compatible with the C-200?

This is likely the link where I posted them:

As to your second question I have no idea if you can import those hex codes into that remote. I'm guessing since its a) inexpensive and b) not PC programmable the answer is no. You will need to step up to at least an mx-850 or 780 or higher to be able to import pronto hex...unless you happen to have another means of taking pronto hex and then learning to the RF20.
