Anyone know ETA for the cameras? Also, does URC integrate with any of the regualar brand cameras? Asked this at training and I don't think I got a straight answer. The website demo almost seems like you can view any type of IP camera on the KP-4000 - is that the case?

The new products are scheduled for mid 1st quarter. They are not stating anything about compatibility with 3rd party cameras.

I heard them say they originally discussed Panasonic and Axis, but those discussions were abandoned.

now that 3rd party cameras are supported, what should be the networking basics of the ip cameras?

DMS-1200 has to be connected to MFS-8. How about URC cameras and 3rd party cameras? Do they benefit connected to MFS-POE8 or MFS-8?

No. The MFS in the model number stands for MAC Filtering Switch and should only be used for DMS devices which stream PCM audio over IP. Keep your camera streams out of those.

ok. so only dms, snp and ipod dock?

mrx-10 base stations and tkp-100,2000,7000. looks like it does not matter where we place them? or it is bad idea to keep them along with dms in the mfs-8
