Any experience this before?

MX5000 just suddenly stopped transmitting IR commands. None of my sources will sense IR commands from the MX5000. Remote worked perfectly for a couple of months.

Attempted soft reset, hard factory reset, re-downloaded programming, created new profile with a couple of quick IR commands to test. The remote appears to function perfectly as far as programing and functionality. Just doesn't send IR commands.


I considered possibly updating or reinstalling firmware but I couldn't find an option to handle just the firmware in CCP.

Any thoughts or opinions are greatly appreciated.

URC replaced my remote for me as it appeared to be defective. FYI in the event someone else runs into this issue.

I have the exact same issue. Ive had this remote for a bit over 3 months and suddenly, it stopped emitting IR signals to my components. I have no idea what could have caused this failure . Its a great remote and I hope my dealer can arrange something for me. Your thread does reassure me about its defect. I really would like to have it replaced for that reason alone
