Just upgraded from Sky+ to Sky+ HD and I still have the same problem.
Used the wizard to add a new device.
Selected Sky HD, Sky+ HD and also Sky1 to 5.
My problem is that when I scroll left or right, up or down, it can jump 2 or 3 lines.
I previously tried to get the MX-810 to learn the commands manually but still had the same problem !

Hope somebody can advise?

Joe

i've not used the MX810 but there is a 'repeat' option and you may find that as default it is set to 3!
reduce this to 1 and it may solve the problem.
alternatively paste in the Hex for the problem codes.

Joe,

Exact same problem here. It repeats on lot's of codes. I think I found Hex codes online and used those before, as none of them in the URC database work.

I've mentioned this before and they've not done anything about it yet.

Another trick was to learn the codes yourself and to lift the remote up when it's sending so you just catch some of the IR. This can be tedious.

Unfortunately I don't have CCP, or I could have sent you my file.

Roy.

Hi folks,

Thanks for your replies.
I went into the Browser and found the delays for Up & DOWN. They were set at 0.3. I tried to set them at 0.1 but they would not change.
I then tried to modify the Device set up by the wizard as loads of keys were missing, such as FF, REWIND and the Numerics.
I got it to learn UP, DOWN, LEFT & RIGHT from the existing remote.
All of the bar DOWN work properly now. It will jump down three jumps but it will go back up one at a time !

Makitamark,

Thanks for the codes but I need help on using them. I seee a Hex editor window in the Browser. Can you help here ?

Many thanks

Joe

Just solved my problem.
Was trying to edit the delay from 0.3 to 0.1.
Found that I was adding to the delay instead so rather than 0.3, I has 0.6.
Just removed the Bad command and learnt from the original remote again.
All is now well !

Joe
