hi,

I live in Israel and thoght of buying an MX-880 remote -
next week I will be visiting and could order one.

I would appreciate any advise where can I purchase it
with the software - without any programing.

Besides that, I heard a few complaines on the battery life issue - that I'm concerened of. are you guys experienced any significant problem?

Thanks,
Oren

you can get it from Best Buy, most likely without the software. Depending on which one you go to and which installer you speak with, you may or may not get the software. It's a crap shoot. Or, you might can find a local (small business) authorized dealer to the area from whom you can purchase the remote, but they may or may not distribute the software.

They come with a rechargeable lithium battery. Plug it in every other night or so and your fine. No worries!!! When the battery dies in about 1000 charging cycles replace it!

When it comes to software... that's up to whom you buy the remote from.
All high's, all low's, it must be.......
