I just got this all hooked up in the shop and I have got the RS232 working fine on a Marantz SR5004. I need some help with the 2-way feedback. In the CCP Serial database, there are several codes under "SR5004 XM 2-Way Request". In the test section, I can send these commands and receive a reply from the receiver with information like channel name, signal strength, etc.. But that is where I am stuck. I do not know how to get this status feedback to appear on the MX5000. There does not seem to be any information regarding this feature in any of the manuals or tutorials I have seen.

Can someone clue me in? I sent an email to URC this morning as well. I figured I would try here. Hopefully I am not the first to try this. :)

When you named devices, did you drag a device or a two-way module? The two way will give you some additional setup parameters that may be needed.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

I dragged a device as the device I am using is not listed in the 2-way drop down menu. This may be the problem...no module programmed from URC for the Marantz.

There are serial codes in the database that are specifically labeled "...2 way request..."..and they do work in the test section of CCP. I just need to find out if I can even do what I am trying to do, which is display the feedback of those request commands. My gut says no....but I may be wrong.
