Is there zone 2 IR codes or is it strictly RF with the Bose remote? The database only shows LS 28 series 1 and series 2 but nothing for Z2.

I believe Zone 2 cannot be controlled via IR.

I figured that was the case since there was not any zone 2 codes listed in the database. So I guess that means the customer is stuck using the Zone 2 bose remote. Thanks for replying.

 if it is like the lifestyle 38/48, then it can be controlled with IR.  I have been doing it with Nevo remotes for awhile now.  Not sure what codes to use in URC's database, but if you like, I could probably learn a few of the codes and give you some hex codes to try.

Bose calls these zones Room A,B,C,D  etc...  which room code is the second zone set up for?

It's an older lfestyle 28 ( I believe it's a series 1) with an SA2 amp and an RC-18S remote for the second zone. It is set as room B and the factory remote works. It's RF only so I can't learn codes from it.

In the URC database LS 38,48,V20, and V30 are the only models that have codes for multi rooms A-E. I've gone through all of the LS codes and the LS28 code is the only one that works but it only has the main room.

I downloaded some HEX codes from the files section here but have not tested them yet. If you have Hex codes that are different I would appreciate it if you sent them to me. I will be able to try them later this week.
