My family and I love our MX-810. I haven't programmed since I set it up two years ago, but will need to now since I have added a WD Live TV to integrate my media server. I am now running Win 7 64. Will this OS support the reprogramming of my remote?
A search on this site reports a few people with problems programming over Win 7. I have installed the old application I used under Win XP. It runs fine, although it couldn't successfully update itself. I don't want to hook up my remote yet because I don't have URC x64 drivers and don't want to brick the remote.
The URC website seems to restrict their software to proffessionals. I can't remember where I bought my device or received the programming application. Is there any place I can download the MX-810 Wizard with x64 drivers and an updated device list? Are there any other programming alternatives? Am I going to have to buy a new device? Any insights would be appreciated.
