Hey all,
Ive noticed sometimes when Im doing the volume up or down sometimes it won't stop. It will keep going for about 4 seconds before it stops.
Im using the Volume from the database. 524.VOL+ and 524.VOL- , its a panasonic TH-58PZ800U tv.
Any ideas of something I can try?

You may want to learn the codes. If you use the factory remote you may find that when you just tap the remote it moves .5db or just one step on volume but when you press and hold it will actually send a different code to do more steps. In the 6000 and other URC remotes there is a repeat command flag you can set, but I find that sometimes with the volume issues it's just easier to learn the commands.

thanks, I'll try that. When I learn the command should I just "tap" the key or should I hold it down?

I can't get either one to work. If I press and hold while learning then the volume doesn't work at all. If I just tap it once while learning then it only adjusts the volume by tapping the button and not while holding the button in.
If I tap repeatedly while learning then it only works while tapping the button as well.
Hmmmm
