MX-3000 and a 260 base. Client has a large Lovan open shelf rack. Port 2 IR is going to a panasonic Blu-ray player. Can't get the DVD to respond even thought the IR lights up when sending a command. I was standing in front of the rack and it started responding well. I move away and it stopped responding. I realize after some fiddling around that the front IR blaster of the 260 base is active. How do i get the IR emitter to work and not the IR blaster on the front of the 260 base. I have to be missing something really easy, just can't see it in front of me - thanks!

You set that up when you do the RF programming step--you tell the remote that the blaster should be off and then assign a specific IR port for the component.

Where do we set the blaster "off" in the MX3000 software. I am not seeing that option under the RF control.

There should be a togle next to the blaster ID or name that says ON/OFF.

I remember there used to be an option to turn the blaster on/off from there but not anymore. Under receivers it just has Name , Receiver ID and IR LED Output. But not an option for the blaster anymore.

Thanks Guys!!!! We finally got in touch with URC support and they changed the "verbage" in the last MX3000 software update - so we got a little miffed when we no longer saw it listed. We look competent once again - LOL! Again, thanks!
