Does anybody (Darnitol?) know if URC is still making 980is w/ fixed buttons? Our store is still receiving them.

They probably haven't sold thru their "I's" with the fixed Watch/Listen.

I honestly don't know on this one. I was involved in the graphics for the 980, and I still use one at home, but since I'm not at the main office, I don't know much about what's in stock or even what the current support issues with the product might be.
I don't THINK we've shipped any with fixed buttons in a good long while though. I would contact sales to see if what you're getting shipped is in line with what URC had in mind.

Thanks, Dale. Isn't the first part of the seriall number tied to the production date. The serial numbers for the ones we got look something like: B620208 (going from memory as I'm not there right now). Wouldn't that be a production date of 0208?
