Hey all, so Im new to using the software provided with the MX-6000 (Complete Control Program/CCP) and I have a few questions about setting up my pages.
Right now I have my group called "Main Pages" that it automatically setup and I can add pages to that. Then I can add devices and add pages to that.
But what Im wondering is If I can create a group called "Watch TV" and "Watch DVD" etc and add pages to that or do I have to add all my pages like that to the "Main Pages" group?
Or does anyone have a finished file I can look at just to see how you layed it out?
I don't want to create pages on my Devices because lets say Im on a page I create for my dvd player, That will have buttons for the receiver, dvd player and TV.
So I'd like to group everything together by my Activities (watch tv, movie, listen to radio etc...)
Does that make sense?
Thanks

actually I think I got that figured out.
But now i have a different question.
Im adding all my devices and Im adding my Denon 4310 receiver which supports 2way ( I think)
so I did the "add 2-way device" but it doesn't seem like you can add pages to it. Is this normal?

You can not add pages to a 2-way device. What it does is grab information from the device and displays that info on the screen. This is normal for a 2-way system as it depends on the device to send the data.

Thanks, can you edit the page layout/design of the 2way device? Im making my own template/theme and everything matches except for the 2-way device page. It is using the default theme from the CCP program.
I didn't see where to do that if you can...

Nope, you cannot edit the 2-way modules if that's your question.

If you're feeling adventurous, decompile them (Adobe Flash), modify as you desire and recompile

sweet thanks! ive done plenty of flash (its been a few years but I still remember it I think!) I looked around in the program files installed on my computer... Do you know where the 2 way flash files are located? I didn't see any. EDIT: I found a default.swf file, this may be what Im looking for, I need to open it on my other computer.

it seems all their 2-way files are in the .VFD format which is a Virtual Floppy Drive.
I downloaded a program (called Virtual Floppy Drive) but it couldn't open them.
Anyone ever done this?

Look here C:\Program Files\Universal Remote Control, Inc\Complete Control Program\MX-6000\TwoWay (if installed in default dir on C:). You will see a number of folder below this (e.g. \IPOD\swffile). You'll find all the .swf file there. For the rest, its up to your abilities.

My bad - just had a look on another pc with the updated CCP and it seems URC has put all the SWF files into the VFD files. Send me a PM if you want some more details. You can still get to the files, but will require a bit more effort.
