I have finally got serial device files for Russound CAA66 to work. Now I'd like to import the serial device into my other remotes. The file imports, but no triggers are imported. What am I doing wrong?

MSC-400
MX-880

If you have all the functions imported properly you can go to "Connected Devices", right click on the device you want, go to "tools" and select "Convert to Smart Macro Group". This will create the triggers for all the functions.

Well I did that on remote 1. Now when I import this file to remote 2, the file shows up without the triggers. So now I have to start all over with remote 2 creating Smart Macro Groups and dragging triggers?

We've seen that, when importing an existing MSC-400 file into a new configuration, you need to import the MSC prior to putting anything else in the file.

In other words, create a new file, import the MSC, then import or create your remotes and any other RF stations.
