I have a Radio Shack Plug N Power system Model #61-2470 and have lost the manual. Can anyone tell me how to program the light timer? The Radio Shack website no longer offers a manual for this system. It works fine in the manual On/Off mode, but I don't remember how to set the lights to go on and off at specified times. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Remember that you can control only 4 groups, not 8 (1-4 or 5-8, but not both). Use the slid switch to determine which group and set modules accordingly.

Set actual time - move selector switch to Set Time and use the Time arrows as necessary. Remember AM and PM.

Move the switch to Prog Set and make sure that the group that you are going to set is clear, that is, has all zeros in the que. Push Rocker Switch (On or Off) and push Clear. There are two (2) settings for each rocker switch for On, and two (2) setting for Off. Make sure that they are all clear. You can use the same procedure to clear any mistakes.

Now use the Time arrows to change the time up or down to the time you want a unit to turn On. The time should be displayed in the window. Again, remember AM and PM. Once the time is correct, push the number 1-4 rocker switch On (One time only!) This sets the 1st on time to what you have put in the window. If you want a second On time, change the displayed time on the window - as above - and push the 1-4 a second time (again - One time only). This sets the second On time.

The Off times are set in a simular manner. Put the desired time in the window, just push the Off rocker switch (One time only) for each of the two possible times. If you only want one time on and one time off, then leave the second time as zeros.

Repeat as necessary for each of the 4 rocker switches.

Use the Prog Review to check your programs, then put the suitch back to Run.

If you haven't used the unit in a while, remember the change out the 9v batery on the bottom to protect against commercial poser failures.

Am I missing something? What on Earth does this have to do with URC remotes?

Can someone please explain this thread to me? Here you have three first time posters discussing a product that has nothing at all to do with this particular forum. Is this some type of covert advertising?
